Your guide will pick you up at 8:30 AM and you will start by going towards Quriyat, which lies on the east coast at the end of a sandy plain overlooked by the Eastern Hajar Mountains. Near Dibab is Bimah sinkhole with its inviting clear green waters, concrete steps lead down the side making swimming possible. The route continues along the coastline and we’ll stop at Fins with its famous “White Beach” tucked beneath the cliffs, white sandy beaches with incredible turquoise sea. The picture perfect postcard.
The journey continues along the coast and through the coastal village of Tiwi. Enter Wadi Tiwi with its blue-green pools of water surrounded by palm trees. Overlooking Qalhat is Bibi Mariam Tomb, standing proudly on top of the hill. Qalhat is one of the oldest town and seaports of Oman. (Closed for archeological searches)
Your next stop will be in Sur, another town famous for its trading and still now famous for its Dhow Building Yard. The sheltered lagoon is a perfect picture with all the white houses of Sur in the background and old Dhows floating …or not…in the lagoon.
Arrive at Ras Al Hadd in the afternoon where you can relax before dinner and after go for turtle watching.
Night at a camp in Ras Al Hadd Turtle Reserve needs to be booked in advance PM or/and AM but it will be paid directly at the Reserve.
